Description Hams Cave

The tides are still active in the interior of this cave, with its tidal movements.

This cave was formed by an underground river that flowed to the sea.  It is possibly the best conserved cave.   This is because visits with torches were not permitted.  The greatest attraction is the intense white color of its stalactites and stalagmites  and the yellow tones produced by iron oxidation.

Description Romantic beach

This beautiful cove with sparse vegetation is one of the most important areas of white sand in this part of the Island.

Its origin is the great Torrent des Morts, surrounded by white stone cliffs. On the left side of the beach there is a walkway that allows residents from the nearby town to reach it.
